Camping

at Roaring River State Park

Roaring River State Park offers basic, electric and sewer/electric/water campsites. On-season (Feb. 25 through Oct. 31) services include reservable sites, a dump station, showers, water and laundry.  Current nightly camping fees can be found through the Fees and Seasons link to the right; nightly camping fees effective May 1, 2013, can be found by clicking here.

New Camping Option:  Need a little extra space?  Try one of the park's family campsites (sites 47, 49, 51, 58, 64, 67, 73 and 75 in Campground 1; sites 87 and 91 in Campground 2; sites 136, 158, 172, 179 and 185 in Campground 3).  Rates can be found under Fees and Seasons to the right.

Campground 1 is open year-round. Reservations can be made for stays during the on-season. A few campsites also are reservable for stays during the off-season. 

Campground 2 and Campground 3 are open and reservable during the on-season. 

Campers planning to carry in firewood must comply with current firewood advisories. Water can be accessed year-round at several frost-free water spigots located throughout each campground.

  • 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Wednesday
  • 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday through Saturday
  • 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday
