2008 Passport Photo Contest.



The 2008 passport program was a monthly photo contest that ran from May through December.  The contest encouraged participants to visit Missouri state parks and historic sites and take interpretive photos of cultural and natural landmarks.

Each month had a different theme or topic. These themes or topics were site or activity specific, such as “homestead” or “whiskers.” Visitors could interpret the topic as they wish. Each month a winner and four honorable mentions were chosen.

Photographers who submitted five or more entries overall will receive a Missouri state parks keepsake photo album. Photographers who submitted entries for each of the eight themes will receive a Missouri state parks keepsake photo album, as well as a Missouri state parks calendar.
