at Battle of Athens State Historic Site

Battle of Athens State Historic Site offers basic and electric campsites.  Water is available in the campground during the on-season (April through October), with modern restrooms and a showerhouse approximately one mile from the campground at the enclosed shelter.  Current nightly camping fees can be found through the Fees and Seasons link to the right; nightly camping fees effective May 1, 2013, can be found by clicking here.

The campground is open and available for first-come, first-served use April through November. 

Campers planning to carry in firewood must comply with current firewood advisories.
