Interpretive Programs

at Dr. Edmund A. Babler Memorial State Park

You can work to earn your Missouri State Parks and Historic Sites Explorer Program patch by participating in activities offered at Babler or at any Missouri state park or historic site. These activities are for all ages. To explore on your own, stop by the visitor center to pick up Explorer activities that you can do while spending the day in the park.

Attention teachers! Local schools can make arrangements for interpretive programs to be presented at your school or during a field trip to the park. To schedule a program, contact the park naturalist at the visitor center at 636-458-3813. The park also offers reserveable educational trunks that can be used in your classroom.

In addition, several fun and family-friendly special events are offered annually. Call the visitor center for times, locations and details about all of the special events.
