Cowboy Cooking

6/1/2024 | First Missouri State Capitol State Historic Site | St. Charles, MO

Join us in the backyard of First Missouri State Capitol State Historic Site for a day of cooking by the fire like a cowboy from the days of frontier Missouri!

Jim Flint-Smith will be demonstrating some classic cast-iron recipes like cowboy beans, and maybe a popular cobbler dessert! Jim has been demonstrating for several years and has been a staple at some of Branson’s fall festivals. Come learn a new skill while enjoying a June day outside near the Missouri River.

This walk-up-style event is free and open to the public, and there is no registration. Visitors are welcome to browse and stay as long as they like.
