From Kansas City
Big Lake State Park is approximately 75 miles north of the Kansas City International Airport. Travel north on I-29 to Exit 79 (U.S. Hwy. 159). Proceed west on U.S. Hwy. 159 for approximately nine miles to Hwy. 111. Turn right onto Hwy. 111 and travel one mile to the park entrance.
From Omaha, Neb.
Big Lake State Park is approximately 90 miles south of Omaha. Travel south on I-29 to Mound City exit (Exit 84). Take Hwy. 118 west to Hwy. 111. Turn left onto Hwy. 111 and proceed into the state park.
