Group Reservations
Reservations for camping groups wishing to camp in Campground 4 (group campground) can now be made by telephoning the reservation center (877-422-6766). A camping group must reserve a minimum of six sites. The campground can accommodate a group party of 20, and has electric campsites ranging in length from 40 feet to 99 feet. Detailed information about each campsite can be accessed by clicking on the campsite numbers on the campground map, and should be reviewed prior to making a group reservation.
When to Call
Group leaders are encouraged to make the group reservation at the earliest opportunity to ensure receiving the quantity of campsites needed for the group. When each camper pays for only their individual campsite, group reservations may be made from six months to 21 days in advance of arrival. When the group leader pays for all campsites in the group, the reservation may be made as early as six months and as late as two days prior to the arrival date.
How to Make a Group Reservation
The group leader must initiate the group reservation, choose the group sites from Campground 4, pay for at least their own campsite, and communicate the group reservation information back to the group members. Group members then have 10 days to contact the reservation center and must identify the group with which they are associated, choose their site from the group sites, and make payment for their individual campsite.
Different Arrival or Departure Dates
The group leader may choose different arrival dates and departure dates for individual group members. Sites will be assigned for campers arriving or departing different days from the main group. Camper details (type and length of equipment and camper name) must be provided at the time the group reservation is made for campers arriving or departing different days. This information is required to ensure the camper's equipment will fit on the assigned campsite. Additional reservation fees will apply for group members to change their arrival or departure to a different date. To minimize change fees charged the group members, group leaders are encouraged to communicate with their group members prior to making a group reservation.
Payment
MasterCard, Visa or Discover credit cards or debit cards backed by these major credit cards are accepted as payment for group reservations. All typical reservation fees apply for each campsite reserved, changed or cancelled.
Confirmation
The group leader will receive individual reservation confirmations for the group members when payment has been received for the campsites, and should provide the confirmation information to each group member prior to arriving at the campground.
Special-Use Camping Area
Organized youth groups can reserve the park's special-use
camping area. It includes three areas for camping, all of which have
