Accessible SymbolInformation Kiosk and Picnic Shelter

Two handicap parking spaces are located adjacent to a paved pathway leading to the information kiosk and picnic shelter on this shady hilltop overlooking Missouri farmland.

Inside the kiosk are panels explaining the area's history. The path splits past the kiosk one way to the picnic shelter, accommodating 50 people, and the site's vault toilet. This area is accessible to all visitors.

The paving of the second leg of the pathway ends in a shady space where those not inclined to go further may rest. From here, the path turns to gravel and becomes quite steep and uneven as it winds its way downhill. Benches have been provided for rest along the way. The total length of the path is three-eighths of a mile.
