Special-Use Camping Area

at Wakonda State Park

The special-use camping area is designated for group camping, with nonprofit organizations and youth groups having priority. The area is equipped with a fire pit, a vault toilet and several picnic tables. The flat fee for use of this area is $20 per night covering up to 10 people, and an additional $2 per person per night for any additional people over the 10 included in the flat fee.

Staff are usually available in the park Monday through Friday.

The office telephone is monitored for messages during daytime hours.
