Stargazing

6/17/2023 | Ha Ha Tonka State Park | Camdenton, MO

Have you ever gazed upon the night skies and wondered what exactly you are seeing? Are all of those glistening objects stars, planets or something else? Join us for an evening of stargazing – weather permitting – as we tour the night skies through a telescope. We will be transitioning to a new moon, which provides the best opportunity to view fainter, more distant objects.

The program will start at 9:30 p.m. at the Post Office Shelter. To get to the Post Office Shelter from Highway 54, turn onto state Road D and continue approximately 2.3 miles; the shelter will be on your left.

Program Time: 9:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.
