Wildflower Walk

All are welcome to join the park naturalist as we hike Acorn Trail and discover the amazing flowers blooming along it. Will the bright violets be your favorite flower? Or will the mighty leaves of prairie dock impress you more? Come explore these plants and much more. We will meet at the Turkey Pen parking lot at 10 a.m.

Be sure to bring your own bug spray, sunscreen and water. Acorn trail is 0.90 mile long. To get to the Turkey Pen parking lot from Highway 54, turn onto state Road D. Once on Highway D, Turkey Pen parking lot will be on your left in approximately 2.2 miles.

Hike Time: 10 a.m. - 11 a.m.
