New Regionalism: The Art of Bryan Haynes

Come see the exhibit "New Regionalism: The Art of Bryan Haynes" opens at the Elizabeth Rozier Gallery inside Union Hotel at Jefferson Landing State Historic Site. Haynes’ style recalls Thomas Hart Benton, capturing the breathtaking beauty of Missouri’s landscape and people. Haynes is an illustrator, muralist and commercial artist. His work has appeared in national magazines and international advertising campaigns. Recent commissions include works on display at the Kauffman Foundation in Kansas City, The Westward Expansion Memorial Museum at the Arch and the Missouri Botanical Gardens. His process blends history, local lore, illustration and fine art to create the spectacular works on display in the Elizabeth Rozier Gallery through Saturday, Sept. 5.
