The public is invited to a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Meramec State Park's two new playgrounds at 11 a.m.
Following the ceremony, there will be an open house-style public meeting from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Representatives from Missouri State Parks will be on hand to provide information about the park and answer questions. The public is encouraged to share comments about the park and its operations.
Both the ribbon-cutting ceremony and the public meeting will take place near the day-use area playground.
