Break out your white gloves and fancy hats for an old-fashioned tea party to celebrate Missouri's mothers!
Enjoy sipping specialty teas and snacking on tea party-themed foods while listening to Jefferson Landing State Historic Site staff speak about the history of Mother’s Day and life as a Missouri mother in years gone by. After the refreshments, indulge in a game of croquet, stop by the shadow puppet theater, take photos in front of the decorative flower arbor, or go on a leisurely stroll around the Governor's Garden and Capitol grounds.
