Living History Day

Step back in time at Big Oak Tree State Park’s annual Living History Day event. This event will feature demonstrations of old-time skills including wool spinning, wood carving and filigree, as well as music from the Whitewater Bluegrass Band. Barbecue and other refreshments will be available for purchase.

All activities will take place in the day-use area. Attendees planning to listen to the band may want to bring a lawn chair.

This event is free and open to the public, and there is no need to register. For more information, call the park office at 573-649-3149.
