Public Meeting and CDP Meeting

7/14/2023 | Ha Ha Tonka State Park | Camdenton, MO

The public is invited to a town hall-style public meeting for Ha Ha Tonka State Park at the park's Lake Shelter. Representatives from Missouri State Parks will be on hand to provide information about the park and answer questions. The public is invited to share comments about the park and its operations.

This informational meeting will be held in conjunction with park’s conceptual development planning meeting. As the long-range plan for the park is updated, the public is encouraged to come learn more about the planning process, ask questions and provide input regarding future park use and development. A 30-day comment period will begin July 14, with a survey available online at mostateparks.com/CDP.

Input from the public is important to Missouri State Parks. These public meetings, which are being held for all state parks and historic sites, help create two-way communication with the public. The meetings give representatives the opportunity to let people know the current statuses and future plans for the parks and sites, and they offer visitors the opportunity to comment on the facilities.
