First Day Hike

1/1/2024 | Ha Ha Tonka State Park | Camdenton, MO

Start the year off right by joining us for our First Day Hike! We will meet at the Spring Trail trailhead off of the lake parking lot. We will begin our journey by hiking back to the spring. From there, we will hike up the stairs and to the castle before returning to the parking lot. Along the way, we will stop and talk about the history of the park features we encounter. The hike will cover a distance of about 2 miles. Be sure to dress for the weather, and consider bringing water and a hiking stick.

To get to the lake parking lot from U.S. Highway 54, turn onto state Road D and continue for approximately 2.7 miles to Tonka Spring Road. The lake parking lot is located on the right.

This event is free and open to the public. Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash of no more than 10 feet in length.
