First Day Hike

Ring in 2024 with a hike! Park staff will lead a leisurely 2-mile guided hike on Red Bud Trail on New Year's Day. The hike will begin at the trailhead by Forest Lake and will go along the lake, through woodlands, and across rugged terrain.

Participants should wear-weather appropriate clothing and comfortable hiking shoes, and are encouraged to bring a water bottle. Pets are allowed but must be kept on a leash. This event is free, open to the public, and suitable for all ages.
