First Day Hike

Welcome in the new year at Montauk State Park with a guided hike on Pine Ridge Trail. The trail is of moderate difficulty, as it has some steep sections as it winds through Montauk Upland Forest Natural Area and along a ridge of mature pine woodlands, which feel like a step back in time. The trail is a little under 2 miles, and the hike will be up to two hours.

This all-ages event is free and open to the public. Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash. Participants should wear sturdy hiking shoes and meet at the nature center at 10 a.m.
