Join the staff of the Nathan and Olive Boone Homestead in celebrating Women's History Month with a hike through homestead. Staff will share the stories of the generations of women whom have called the homestead home for more than 186 years. The 1.5-mile hike will take visitors through the 1837 Boone home and will explore areas of the park off the main trails.
Participants are encouraged to wear sturdy hiking shoes, dress for the weather, bring water, and use insect repellent. The hike will depart from the covered picnic shelter near the office.
