Earth Day Volunteer Event

In celebration of Earth Day, Washington State Park will host a volunteer event on Saturday, April 22, in the Big River Day-Use Area. Volunteers can register for the event from 8 a.m. until 9:30 a.m., and projects will begin at 9:30 a.m. Volunteers will have the option to participate in either tree planting or trash cleanup.

Participants are encouraged to wear long pants, sturdy closed-toe boots or shoes, and work gloves. Additional supplies will be provided. Groups that would like to attend should contact the park office prior to the event at 636-586-5768 or washingtonstatepark@dnr.mo.gov.

All events are weather and conditions permitting and subject to change.

Event Time: 8 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
