Archaeology Day and World Bird Sanctuary Program

Join us for a fun day of archaeology! From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., check out a variety of archaeological demonstrations and activities at Shelter #2 in the Big River Day-Use Area. Then, at 2 p.m., join park staff for a guided petroglyph tour at the petroglyph site across from Shelter #1/CCC Ridge Shelter.

At 11 am, World Bird Sanctuary educators will present the program "Feathers and Scales" at Shelter #2. Meet some of their amazing animal ambassadors and learn about the similarities and differences between reptiles and birds.
