Archaeology Day

Washington State Park staff will host its annual Archaeology Day in collaboration with the Three Rivers chapter of the Missouri Archaeological Society at the Big River Day-Use Area. Children's activities include making petroglyph necklaces, corn grinding and other crafts. There will also be flint knapping demonstrations and atlatl demonstrations throughout the day. WildHeart will perform two shows at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. A petroglyph tour will be held at the petroglyph site at 2 p.m.
