Tuesdays at 2: "Engraved Powder Horns: Documents of History and Events"

Frontiersmen and soldiers used powder horns to record their stories and day to day events that they encountered. Come and design a powder horn.

From June 4 through Sept. 24, join staff of the Missouri State Museum each Tuesday at for a series of interactive programs exploring various aspects of Missouri's cultural and natural history. Although the main audience is children 6 to 12 years, the programs will appeal to all ages. Some of these programs will reflect the museum's "Summer of Storytelling" theme. Programs will take place in the museum classroom, which is located in the History Hall (east wing).
