Geminid Meteor Shower Viewing

Join us for one of the most spectacular meteor showers of the year! The Geminid meteor shower will produce upwards of 75 meteors per hour, leaving behind colorful trails of light.

This free program will begin in the nature center with a short presentation and information about the best viewing locations. Please dress for the weather and bring chairs or towels to sit on. No binoculars or telescopes are needed.

This event is weather dependent and may be canceled due to poor viewing conditions. Call the nature center at 417-532-3925 for status updates or more information.
