6/15/2024 | First Missouri State Capitol State Historic Site | St. Charles, MO
Did you know that June is National Pollinator Month? Celebrate one of the most popular pollinators and learn a new craft by joining us in the visitor center for a class on making needle-felted bees.
Needle felting is the art of using special barbed needles to shape wool into sculptures. Since bees are so fuzzy, they are the perfect little creatures to sculpt out of wool. Not only will you learn some basic needle felting techniques, but you will also learn about bees as you make your own bee sculpture. No needle felting experience is needed.
This class is open to everyone ages 12 and up, but it is limited to 10 participants, so be sure to register soon! You can register online, by phone or by visiting us at 200 S. Main St. in St. Charles. Registration is required, and there is a $10 fee.
For more information, or to register by phone, call the historic site at 636-940-3322.
