Meramec State Park will host a Spring Market event on Saturday, May 4. This event will feature about 10-12 vendors selling items like shirts and hats; blankets and quilts; dog leashes and collars; tumblers and mugs; signage and home decor; plants and terrariums; and soaps, candles and jewelry. In addition, the park's concessionaire will have a tent where visitors can purchase Meramec merchandise and souvenirs. The event may also include a few local organizations, such as some Boy Scout troops from the surrounding area.
The market will be se up in the park's day-use area, between shelters 2 and 3 – and just in time to show off the new playground! Those planning to attend should bring cash, as not all vendors can take cards.
