Lewis and Clark State Park suffered damage from flooding in 2019. Repairs have been made and improvements, such as a new mobile showerhouse, added in the spring of 2022. The park and campground are open with a limited number of campsites available. Campsites that are open include sites 34 through 42 (30-amp electric) and sites 43 through 63 (50-amp electric). All other campsites in the Lewis and Clark State Park campground remain closed at this time for repairs and upgrades. There is a temporary showerhouse and restroom facility available for the convenience of the campground patrons. The freshwater fill-up and dump/clean out station are also available for customer use.
All other park amenities, day-use areas, playground, and trails are open for use.
