A construction project to widen the shoulders of Hwy. 185 will be ongoing through this fall. Park visitors should be extra cautious when approaching the park entrance between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Traffic may be temporarily stopped at times. The section being widened is approximately 2.3 miles between the park entrance and the town of Sullivan.
The ORV riding area will be closed from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 18, 2016. The Leadbelt National Enduro will be held during that time.

Users may come across obstacles such as erosion and fallen trees from recent storms. Repairs will be made as soon as is practical.
