Grant Application Workshop Schedule

To assist with the grant application process, Missouri State Parks staff will host grant workshops to explain each question on the applications and describe the requirements of the grant application process. Applicants are strongly encouraged to attend one of the workshops.

Land and Water Conservation Fund Application Workshop: General Information
Tuesday, Sept. 2, at 10 a.m.

Material: The general information workshop will be an hourlong Webex presentation that discusses basic LWCF grant information, who can apply for LWCF grants, when applications are due, and the timeline for the grants. It will also provide information about the other LWCF application workshops.

Land and Water Conservation Fund Application Workshop: Scope of Work and Budget
Wednesday, Sept. 3, at 9 a.m. 

Material: This virtual workshop will focus on Project Development and Scope of Work (questions 53-58), Project Need (questions 59-60), Partnerships (Question 66), and Project Budget and Budget Details (questions 67-74).

Wednesday, Sept. 3, at 1 p.m. 

Material: This virtual workshop will focus on Project Location and LWCF Boundary Information (questions 12-28), Property Management and Stewardship (questions 29-34), and Project Planning (questions 61-65).

Thursday, Sept. 4, at 1 p.m. 

This virtual workshop will focus on Acquisition of Real Property (questions 35-52) whether by donation or grant expense.

Recreational Trails Program Application Workshop

Grant Administration Workshop Schedule

LWCF and RTP grants will be awarded in the fall of each year. Applicants of projects that are recommended for funding will be required to attend a mandatory grant administration workshop, where they will receive a copy of the Grant Administration Guide for either their LWCF or RTP grants. During the workshops, staff will explain the requirements for administering the grants, including record retention and documentation, as well as procurement and reimbursement procedures.
