Special-Use Camping Area 2

Located just north of the Hartley Area boat launch, this area is available by reservation only and may be reserved by calling the park office at 417-276-4259. Organized youth groups (Scouts, 4-H, church, etc.) have priority. A vault toilet is available in this area year-round. Water is available during the on-season. There are three picnic tables and a fire ring. When not reserved, this area is open for day use on a first-come, first-served basis.

A more primitive special-use camping area is located near the North Shelter.
