Backyard Concerts: Summer 2022

6/18/2022 to 8/27/2022 | Missouri State Museum | Jefferson City, MO

Backyard concerts are back for 2022. Jefferson Landing State Historic Site is excited to invite you to another season of live music on the Lohman Lawn. This year, we're introducing two "new to the Lohman" artists to the series and bringing back an old favorite. These are family-friendly, BYOC (bring your own chair) events, so bring your blankets, lawn chairs and picnic suppers for a summer of music that captures Missouri's music traditions past and present.

The summer lineup includes:

June 18:  Jerry Rabushka and Isaac Cherry – This duo brings ragtime to the Lohman stage, highlighting Missouri composers including Scott Joplin, James Scott, Irene Giblin and more.

July 16: Ironweed Bluegrass Band – This group brings audiences bluegrass and vintage country with tunes about "trains, moonshine, dirt, heartache" and more.

Aug. 27: Downstream – This acoustic trio plays a blend of Americana, folk, blues and original music.
