Spring Wild Edibles

Join us at Current River State Park on June 11 or 12 for our Spring Wild Edibles class. The class is the same both days; space is limited, so sign up FAST to get your spot.

This year, we will smoke some fish and have some cactus fajitas and so much more. You will also learn about sustainable and responsible foraging. You will eat breakfast while learning about different plants and processes and then go on to the short hike around the park to forage some of the items for supper. Lunch will be a grazing event while processing what we have gathered for supper.

Things to bring:

  1. Good walking shoes.
  2. Water bottle.
  3. Gloves.
  4. Jump drive - for a copy of the PowerPoint presentation.
  5. Notebook or paper for notes.
