Join park staff at the Shelter 3 parking lot at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 6 to begin a guided 7.5-mile hike on a portion of Tall Oaks Trail and all of South Thompson Trail. We will discuss plants, trees and animals that we see along the way. South Thompson Trail can be accessed only by walking a portion of either Tall Oaks Trail or North Thompson Trail to enter and exit the trail.
Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable hiking shoes and to bring water and a snack.
