Cuivre River State Park will host a volunteer meeting at the Lake Shelter on Oct. 6 at 6 p.m. This meeting will be for current volunteers and anyone wishing to learn more about volunteer opportunities at Cuivre River State Park. The Lake Shelter is a large open-air shelter where participants can maintain social distance during the meeting. Park staff are looking for volunteers for a variety of tasks, such as trail maintenance, general park beautification projects and resource stewardship. There are opportunities for volunteers of all ages. If you have questions, please call the park office at 636-528-7247.
