Onondaga Cave State Park will host a series of Halloween events in the park's campground on Saturday, Oct. 24. More information will be available at a later date.
Activities
- Campsite Decorating Contest and Pumpkin Carving Contest
Put carved pumpkins by your campsite posts -- The campground hosts will be judging both. - Costume Contest – 4 p.m.
Step out to the end of your campsite at 4 p.m., and judges will drive by and do the judging. Separate out by adults, children and groups for proper judging. - Trick-or-Treating hosted by the campers – 5:15 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Please practice social distancing. Bag candy in individual baggies for easy pickup by the little goblins. Use hand sanitizer and wash your hands before and after the event.
Prizes are sponsored by the Onondaga Friends Association and will be handed out at the site. A Winners Board will be placed at the showerhouse so campers can see who won the prizes.
