Storytime Saturdays: April 2017

A new season of "Storytime Saturdays" will begin on Feb. 4 and will extend through May 25. These programs will introduce children ages 3 to 6 years to Missouri's history and natural resources through stories and hands-on activities. Programs begin at 11 a.m. each Saturday and will be held at various locations throughout the History and Resources halls in the east and west wings of the Missouri State Capitol. In April, the museum opens a new exhibit on Missouri in the Great War. Many of April’s program themes will introduce attendees to life on the homefront during WWI.

Program themes for April are:
  • April 1: Games from Long Ago – Part 1
  • April 8:  Finding Winnie
  • April 15: Raggedy Ann and Andy – Part 1
  • April 22:  Bennie the Biplane
  • April 29: Knit Your Bit
