Halloween Spooktacular

This fun event will feature family-friendly activities and programs all afternoon and evening that will get you into the Halloween mood and will feature live animals often associated with Halloween. This event is free and open to the public. 

For visitors camping in the park, there will be a campsite decorating contest and trick or treating for the kids. Prizes will be awarded for campsites in the basic campsite and electric campsite categories.

Event schedule:

• 2 p.m. “Wings of the Night”- Educators from Raptor Rehabilitation Project will join us at the amphitheater with live owls and other special bird of prey guests. 
• 5 p.m. Trick or treating in the campground and judging of the campsite decorating contest  
• 7 p.m. “The Crawing Dead” – Zombies walk among us every day! Have you seen them? Join the naturalist at the amphitheater as we unmask these real-life animal zombies and show them for what they truly are.  Be prepared….for anything…including enormous amounts of free candy…could happen!  Winners for the campsite decorating contest will also be revealed after the program.
