The Lion Roars Tonight

6/4/2016 | Knob Noster State Park | Knob Noster, MO

This free program is one of a series of six, led by volunteer James Miller (starman1000) and several local knowledgeable amateur astronomers. It is designed for all ages and skill levels who want to learn about the night sky and outer space. This particular date will allow visitors to enjoy Jupiter underneath the majestic lion of the night! Mars and beautiful Saturn will follow while the Milky Way galaxy should be a sight to behold.

The program will be held in the park’s special-use area; follow the signs. Please bring something to sit on and a flashlight. Insect repellent is recommended.

In the event of rain or cloudy skies, the event will be canceled. Please check Knob Noster State Park's Facebook page for up-to-date program information.
