This event will begin with a lantern-led twilight hike on 1,000 Step Trail guided by park naturalist staff. At the end of the hike, guests will arrive at the historic CCC shelter where they will sample hors d'oeuvres provided by the park concessionaire, Missouri Park Adventures, from the on-site Thunderbird Café. Guests will also receive complimentary wine tastings from local wineries, including Edg-Clif Vineyards, Bardenheier Wine Cellars, LaChance Vineyards and Wild Sun Winery.
Reservations are required to attend this event and must be made by calling the park office at 636-586-5768. There are a limited number of spots available and reservations will only be accepted through Sunday, March 20.
This event is free to attend with additional purchases optional. All participants must be age 21 and over. The hike on 1,000 Step Trail is approximately 0.5 mile long on natural surface with some intermediate difficulty. Guests participating are asked to bring a flashlight or battery-operated lantern for the hike and to dress accordingly for this outdoor experience.
