10 a.m. – 3 p.m. - Petroglyph Necklace Activity, Big River Day-Use Area near Thunderbird Lodge
Would you like to create your own petroglyph necklace? Join park naturalist staff for this creative activity and take home your very own petroglyph keepsake.

10 a.m. and 1 p.m. - Petroglyph and Glade Tour, Petroglyph Site
This guided interpretive walk highlights two of Washington State Park's unique features. The walk begins with a tour of the ancient Native American rock carvings and will then venture out into the glade where visitors will learn about life on this unique landscape. Each hike will last about one hour.

2 p.m. - Archeology Dig, Big River Day-Use Area near Thunderbird Lodge
How would it feel to make a big archeological discovery? Do you want to dig up bones, carvings, and other signs of ancient life? Join park naturalist staff for a fun archeology "dig" by the beautiful Big River.

7 p.m. - Life in the Early 1800s, Campground Amphitheater
Learn what life was like in the early 1800s in the Missouri Ozarks! Park naturalist staff will show and tell stories of this early time period. This program will last approximately one hour.
