Goodbye Invasive, Hello Native: Part One

8/30/2014 | Castlewood State Park | Ballwin, MO

Green is good right? Not always! Just because a plant is green doesn’t mean it is actually “green.” Come learn about how invasive species are affecting our ecosystems, what you can do to help and about native plants that are in need of a comeback. After the discussion, we will go out and apply the knowledge learned by removing invasive species at the park. Be sure to come back next month for the second part of this program to plant native species. This program is designed for families. Reservations are required and can be made by calling the park office at 636-227-4433.
