On this very night, thousands of people across the nation will gather in their backyards, communities and parks to take part in the Great American Backyard Campout. This annual event provides an opportunity to connect with nature in a fun way. So join the park naturalists as we relax by the fire, share stories and savor America’s favorite camp food…s'mores. Check on bulletin boards or at visitor center to find out where to meet.
