Join park staff for a fun-filled afternoon. This is the Department of Conservation's free fishing weekend. Staff will be available to assist you with provided fishing poles. You may also bring your own fishing pole. There will be a children's first fish of the day and largest fish of the day contest. We will also be celebrating National Trails Day with an Amazing Race-style trail race event. There will also be nature crafts, games and nature hikes to the Thompson River.
