The Sedalia Chapter of the Missouri Archaeological Society will have a table of artifacts for you to view frrom 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.. You can bring in your artifact for assistance in identification by society members.

Other activities:

2:15 p.m. to 3 p.m. - Tom Hartline, president of the Sedalia chapter of the Missouri Archaeological Society, will speak about the “Paleoindians of Missouri.”

1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m.  - “Digging into Archaeology” activity

3 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. - “Homesteadin’ before the Park” activity

This event is free and open to the public, and it is presented in cooperation with Missouri Archaeological Society and Missouri State Parks.
