Museum After Hours: "Revisiting Grandmother's House"

4/3/2013 | Missouri State Museum | Jefferson City, MO

In April, the Missouri State Museum will continue to have “Museum after Hours” on the first Wednesday of the month, when museum galleries will stay open until 9 p.m. Also, at 7 p.m., museum staff will present “Revisiting Grandmother's House.” Whether it is a trip down memory lane or to show your children what things were like in grandmother’s time, join us to take a look at household goods from 1900-1950. From a darning mushroom to a non-electric toaster, there should be something for everyone! Feel free to bring a household item from this period you would like to share. The program will take place in the museum classroom, which is located in the History Hall (east wing).

Event times: 5 p.m. - 9 p.m.
