Van Meter State Park is approximately 100 miles from Kansas City and 75 miles from Columbia. From I-70, take Exit 78/U.S. Hwy. 65. Turn north onto U.S. Hwy. 65 and continue to Marshall. Travel north on Hwy. 41, then west on Hwy. 122 which leads into the state park.

From Moberly
Travel west on U.S. Hwy. 24 to Hwy. 41; turn left/south and continue to Hwy. 122. Hwy. 122 leads into the state park.
