On the search page, you will be asked to
select from a number of features to help you find
a place to start your next adventure. Searching
will find both state parks and/or state historic
sites that match your criteria. Read the
following tips to increase your chances of a good
match.
General Tips
1. If you do not make any
selections from the search page, the results page
will return all state parks and historic
sites.
2. The search button is at the
bottom of the page.
3. For your convenience, use
the
backpack feature to temporarily store information
on state parks and historic sites that you would
like to look at more closely.
Select a
Location
1. Select either a region(s)
or a highway corridors(s), not both.
2. If you do not make any
selection, your results will include all
locations within the state.
3. You may refine your search
to a specific region. Refer to the map for the
number that corresponds with the region you
want.
4. If you want to find places
anywhere in the state, select "Regions
(statewide)."
5. If you are planning a trip,
you may wish to find places along the highway
corridor you are traveling. If so, select as many
interstates or state highways that are
appropriate.

Features
1. This page includes a
series of tables that represent the types of
features or amenities that you can find at state
parks and historic sites.
2. Select as many features as
you wish.
3. If you do not make any
feature selection from the search page, the
results page will return a list of parks and
historic sites with all features.
4. You may be very specific
about the kinds of features you search for. For
example, you may choose to find only parks with
"Stream Fishing." If so, click on the box next to
"Stream Fishing." Please note that specific
searches will return limited results.
5. You may be very general
about the kinds of features you search for. For
example, you may choose to find parks that have
any kind of fishing available. If so, click the
box next to "Fishing (all)".
