Public Invited to Share Ideas During an Informational Meeting
Regarding Stockton State Park

JEFFERSON CITY, MO., JULY 15, 2009 -- In an effort to ensure that the public has an opportunity to provide input regarding services in state parks and historic sites, the Missouri Department of Natural Resources invites you to bring your ideas to an informational meeting Saturday, July 25 at Stockton State Park. The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at the Nyblad Amphitheater, which is located in the east loop of the park's campground, and the public is invited.

Department staff will give a brief presentation about recent improvements. Discussions will address current and future plans, which include new park signage, improvements to the North Shelter and a new lagoon. Visitors are also invited to share comments on the park's services and operations.

Stockton State Park is located at 19100 South Highway 215 near Dadeville.
