"LET'S ALL FLY KITES" IS MAY 25
AT DR. EDMUND A. BABLER MEMORIAL STATE PARK
JEFFERSON CITY, MO., MAY 14, 2008 -- Go fly a kite on Sunday, May 25, at Dr. Edmund A. Babler Memorial State Park near Wildwood. Sponsored by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, the park's "Let's All Fly Kites" event will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. It is free and open to the public.
Everyone is welcome to bring a kite and fly it in the open field next to the park's statue. The first 20 children to arrive will get to make their own kite and fly it in the park. Meet at the park's statue near the park's entrance.
